French Quarter Candles commissioned a custom carrying case for their wholesale portfolio, which doubles as a display. Art-carpenter Taylor Reinhard brought my idea to living color! Drawing from his collection of beautiful old New Orleans cypress, Taylor set the stage for a beautiful presentation and improved my design idea with knowledge of wine box structure so each candle is nestled and secure. The Kodiak-oil tanned cowhide is durable and supple, gorgeous texture. My transformer design is minimal yet dramatic. Fun project!
